Though I am now semi-retired, I am an experienced classroom teacher and tutor, an accomplished editor, and also am the founder of the Inner Circle Writers’ Group, based in the United Kingdom but with members all over the world, and Clarendon House Publications, part of the Golden Age of independent publishing.

I also have a background as an international small business consultant, where I have effectively boomed several businesses over periods ranging from two days to a year.

As the Head Teacher of a small independent school for over six years I was able to double student numbers and ensure higher quality delivery. I have also organised and managed clubs and group outings and mentored other teachers through the UK Qualified Teaching Standards requirements, as well as tutoring and mentoring university entrants. For almost a decade I also produced and directed an amateur whole-school theatre group and have created and managed many individual and group programmes addressing personal and school situations.

I gained a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours from Flinders University, am a published poet and established a successful school Tolkien Society. I currently live with my wife and family in Yorkshire.
